With thanks to Radiobank, a number of short safety announcements,
covering everything from Firework safety to bad backs
and testing your smoke alarm, have now been added to our
automated playout. |

Chairman Phil Yates congratulates new members Dan Thompson,
Stuart Newman and Joe O'Connor on completing their training
at Milton Keynes Hospital Radio. All new members now look
forward to presenting their own shows on the station. |

Milton Keynes Hospital Radio continued their annual support
for the local Parks Trust with our presence at another
outside broadcast, and our third visit to the Teddy Bear's
Picnic, this year at a new location near Caldecotte Lake. |

December 2005 - Happy 21st Birthday
Chairman Phil Yates (centre) cuts the 21st Birthday Cake
to celebrate the coming of age of Milton Keynes Hospital
Radio Service. The event was celebrated with the cake,
some light refreshments, and a general meeting to which
all members were invited. Coverage of the event was given
in the Milton Keynes Citizen newspaper, and on the Council
website MKWeb. Here's to the next 21 years! |

June 2004 - A Grand Day Out
Milton Keynes Hospital Radio continued their annual support
for the local Parks Trust with our presence at yet another
outside broadcast, this time for the Teddy Bear's Picnic
at Willen Lake. This was the first time our new Outside
Broadcast equipment was used in a live event - equipment
that we are able to buy thanks to the kind donations the
Parks Trust give us for helping at these events. |

April 2004 - A Kind Donation
Chairman Phil Yates collects a cheque for £93.50
from Peter Garner of the Milton Keynes Philately Society,
representing funds they raised for us in the last year.

March 2004 - Community Raffle
Mike Blackmore collects a cheque for £701.40 from
Claire Dando of the Milton Keynes Community Foundation
to represent funds raised by our sale of 1,294 tickets
in the 2003/04 raffle. At this event, the managing director
of Volkswagen UK congratulated the lucky winner of the
Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet, donated to the Community
Foundation, who celebrated the sale of over 50,000 raffle
tickets this year. |

March 2004 - The Price Of Fish
Pictured (l-r), Mike Blackmore, David Wright and Steve

with Roland Rivron - presenter of the new Anglia TV show
"The Price Of Fish" on which the station fielded
a team - we didn't win, but did have an all expenses paid
day out, and got to be on the telly! |
